Timothy Puglia

Timothy currently works as the business manager to the CIO of COO&F of ABN AMRO and has two years of experience as a technology strategy consultant at Accenture, complemented by a background in engineering and product design. Having worked in over five different industries, with a focus on financial services, Timothy has demonstrated the ability to quickly grasp complex, technology-specific concepts and effectively communicate ideas, designs, and strategies in a clear manner. With the the creativity of a designer, the mindset of a strategist, and the precision of an engineer, Timothy is in short a ‘professional nerd’ who values collaborative, high-paced environments where people and technology intersect.

Industrial Design Engineer

Working as an industrial design engineer in a multidisciplinary team developing an autonomous vessel that participated in the international Roboboat competition in Daytona Beach, Florida. My job was to design the model in a 3D environment, conduct CFD-analysis, building the vessel, acquisition, contact with our partners, logistics and financial tasks.

The TOC (Technical Support Committee) makes sure all events by Study Association ID become a reality. This includes the biggest annual student festival of the Netherlands with over 1500 visitors, the Industrial Design Business Fair and many more.

IO Festival: Technical Designer

IOF (Dutch: Industrieel Ontwerpen Festival) is the biggest annual student festival of The Netherlands with over 1500 visitors. Even better, as opposed to the other festivals organised by students that are for the most part being outsourced, IOF is entirely designed, planned and built by students. In total there were 3 stages, 6 bands, 10 DJ’s and all tickets were sold out. My job was making the plans for all technical aspects and overseeing about 30 people during the construction week.
